“Vietnam Mountains to Bay” is designed for any first time visitors to Vietnam who would like to explore the different hill tribes on the Sa Pa Mountains and natural world heritage Halong bay as well as the capital city of Hanoi.

Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be met and transferred to our hotel and then be free to enjoy the rest of the day. Tonight we will have dinner at a fine restaurant in Hanoi.

Accommodation: 4 berth cabin – soft sleeper train with air condition
Sites visited: Ho Chi Minh Complex, Temple of Literature
Our trip will start at around Depart at 8.00 a.m from your hotel on van, we begin to visit Ho Chi Minh, learning a lot about his great life from the complex comprising the Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, and his residential place. We will be traveling next to the Temple of Literature – the place of the first University and temple for Confucius in Vietnam, followed by a chance to see the performance of traditional music. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant for Hanoi Pho afterwards. In the afternoon, pick up the most interesting one from numerous museums or temples inside Hanoi (Museum of Ethnology, Women museum, History museum or Quan Thanh temple…). Then, walking around Hoan Kiem lake then in the Old Quarter for a great fun and this will help you perceive the typical Hanoian styles and its traditional culture. We finish the relaxing but informative day by attending a very nice show of water puppet; which will show you lots of Vietnamese traditional customs and cultures. In the evening we will leave Hanoi for Lao Cai by soft sleeper train.

Day 3: LAO CAI - SAPA (B)
Accommodation: Sapa Global Hotel
Sites visited: Chinese border, Cat Cat minority village
Upon arrival in Lao Cai City at around 06:30, guide and driver who will take us to Sa Pa Town. On the way we will stop to visit Vietnam and Chinese border. Arrive in Sapa, after checking in at the hotel (if the room is available) we will have breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant. And be free to enjoy the rest of the morning. Our trip will start for exploring Sa Pa in the afternoon by visiting Cat Cat valley, and the Black H’mong people in the their village. Visiting Cat Cat village, we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with families and get to know the different localities. After that we will head back to the town and join the local market and chat with some of the many friendly people there. We will stay overnight in Sa Pa town.

Sites visited: Lao Chai, Tavan Hill tribe village and Ta Phin Village
After breakfast, our visit today will be to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages where there are homes of Black H’mong and Dzay people. We will come back to Sapa town for lunch in a local restaurant and then relax at the hotel. Later we will meet our guide and take the car again to transfer back to Lao Cai city in order to take the night train to Hanoi. On the way we will visit Ta Phin Village, which is situated in a large valley and surrounded by rice fields. Ta Phin is home of the Dzao people. We may visit one of their houses and learn a bit about their way of life. Tonight we will once again take the comfortable soft sleeper train back to Hanoi.

Upon an early arrival back in Hanoi We will transfer to the hotel in order to relax and have breakfast. We depart Hanoi to Ha Long Bay, which is now one of seven World Heritage-listed sites in Vietnam. Upon arriving in Ha Long City, We transfer to our boat for an amazing cruise of Ha Long Bay, and if the weather permits, we will have the opportunity for a swim in the crystalline emerald waters. The trip would not be completed without a sumptuous seafood lunch on board. Dinner will be served and we will spend overnight on board

Rising early we can hear the sound of the ocean coming to life for another lovely day. We will have our breakfast over sunrise before more exploration of Ha Long bay by junk and then by rowing boat to the lagoons. We will visit Luon cave, and the floating villages. We then sail to explore the Bay and have a fresh seafood lunch on board before approaching Ha Long wharf. We will return to Hanoi at around 17:00PM. There is an overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.

Transfer via: International flight at your own arrangement
Today we are free and at our leisure until the time to transfer to the airport for you flight home.
